What makes Babyphat fashions perfect for us.

1.Babyphat is designed for women of Colour by a woman of Colour.  There are 100 million of us and most of us actually have money to spend and hallelujah, someone finally acknowledged that. The designers of Babyphat therefore understand what black women want because they have us in mind when they sit down and draw. They know we like our assets to show! They celebrate them with us. Our bootylicious thighs and small waistlines are taken into consideration here.

2. What I used to laugh at and call too much gold, frills, holes and chains have now become attention to detail as I cast off my prejudice. Hell yeah! Lets have colourful detail. Our skin tones can take it and what’s more, our lives are dull enough and hard enough. Let us sparkle! Loudness is the only way for us. We have been too quiet hidden underneath the drab we are “forced” to wear.

3.Great fit! Thank you Kimora. The jeans fit our rumps like we were born in them. There are white sisters out there whose rumps are going our way and they will find this fashion very comfortable. Babyphat’s clothes literally beg a woman to bankrupt herself. They are SEXY!!!

Tambu took a look at Babyphat on her journey to be sexy which she is still on by the way. I am sure she will discuss it with after she is done discovering Feng Shui. She agrees with me that the prices are prohibitive but my goodness, what a decadent and worthy treasure! “Her clothes remind me of the time I was eleven years old and Zimbabwe was actually manufacturing its own fashion. Edgars had this pair of jeans that is still the best in the world, as far as I am concerned. It could fit the wide hips, the small waist, and the big booty. I have a big booty. You looked absolutely stunning in them. That is Babyphat fashons for me,” she said. “I am still saving for my first Babyphat asset though. Kimora, please make a cheaper brand for Africa?”

4. Attention to detail. What can I say? Babyphat is excellently sewn; as you will be able to notice once you are brave enough to go there. I have not seen such perfect seams since leaving Queensdale Primary School. Everything is immaculately put together. It makes your eyes water.

WE HAVE SEWING MACHINES

As I said sisters, we have sewing machines. Most of us did Fashion and Fabrics or needlework at school. Let us put it to good use. We can do without the big cat at the back. Sorry Kimora, but we are too poor to buy your products. It should make you happy that we only sew for ourselves. I am getting my sewing machine out right now and doing my thing! Don’t hate when you see me dressed fiercely! Perhaps we can sew for each other too!
