The world may change, but one thing will never change as long as the earth is standing! We are daughters of Southern Africa. We may be different, in race, careers and family lives, but we swear allegiance to the same region of this world. The beauty of it all is, your experiences are our experiences. It is in our differences that we are strong.

We want to believe that we are FIERCE! Hello our sisters, we are the Saladteam, representing each and every one of you!
We are here to stay!

We write stories about what women will do to survive our region, stories of despair and triumph in the darkest of times, stories of weakness and strength from the tides of time, stories so beautiful in their horror and ugliness they could only have happened to us. We look at our lives without excuses or pity. It is just what it is.

• We believe women are the salvation of Southern Africa.
• We believe in a high moral conduct.
• We believe in self emancipation.
• We believe that when women rule our corner of the world, we would be better for it.
• We believe in love. We believe in protecting those who can't protect themselves.
• We believe urban Southern African women have all the power and once they harness it, it will trickle down to rural women and change our world.
• We believe in informing urban Southern African women without being censored or intimidated into silence by those on the side of the status quo, whether they be men or women.
• We believe in learning from our audience, people we interview and interact with, just as our readers, we hope are learning from the experiences of other women, whether they be good or bad.
• We don't believe in telling you what to do.
• That is not freedom. That is dictatorship! We will not practice dictatorship. We are also women, who learn every day because we don't know.

We don't have the power, dear sisters, to tell you what to do with your lives. That is the power you have in your hands today, which we hope you will recognize and use it to free us all. If one of us is not free, we are not free. We look forward to a wonderful journey of self realization and self discovery together. You and us. There are no experts or teachers here. There are just women, who write the truth after 25 years of lies, rape and oppression in silence!

Come with us. We are going to walk together! We need you. You give us strength. Without you, we will fail.
